for motorcycle and car in " H " profile & aluminium rods.

follower, crank shaft, flywheel, valve
guides

ARP: Racing Bolts and hardware

Many
parts of the internal combustion engine are susceptible to failure. One of the
most susceptible is the connecting rod, which transfers the energy to the
crankshaft and ultimately to the drive mechanisms. Connecting rod failure not
only can result in a lost of race, but even more importantly, allow the
potential destruction of a very expensive piece of machinery.
TECHNICALLY SPEAKING
STRONG AND RELIABLE FOR A MINIMUM OF WEIGHT
Our
manufacturing procedures are fundamentally simple in nature; we employ the
"Swiss Watchmaker Principle". That is, rather than using computer
operated machinery, we believe that unequalled quality and versatility can best
be achieved using qualified craftsmen to produce a finer finished product. The
end result in an essentially handcrafted, custom designed, quality part that
has been manufactured to the customer's requirements and inspected by trained
and concerned employees.
BOLTS
The system
of fixation being the weakest point of the conventional rod, Carrillo offers
high resistant rods. The largest bolt available is 7/16 inch diameter thread,
fabricated either from AISI H11 tool - or Multiphase steel.
WHICH BOLT TO CHOSE ?
The H 11
bolt has a high quality and is applicable to most high performance uses. Under
racing conditions, we suggest that the H 11 bolts be changed periodically. He
is available in 3/8 (SPSWMC6) or 7/16 (SPSWMC7).
Ultimate tensil strength : 220000 psi.
In comparison, the Multiphase bolt is designed to be a non-replacement type fastener. He exists in 7/16, 3/8, 5/16, Ό (SPS-CARR). Ultimate tensil strength : 285000 psi.
